Whit graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture/MCPHS in 2019 with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He is a diplomate of the NCCAOM and a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New Hampshire. Whit has studied a variety of acupuncture styles, including TCM, OM/Herbal Medicine, Orthopedic, Japanese Styles, Master Tung, and Balance Method. He is currently studying at the Pacific College of Health and Science to complete his doctoral degree and become a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM).
Whit’s journey with acupuncture began towards the end of high school and the beginning of college when he developed severe migraines that were completely debilitating. After western pharmaceutical treatments proved to be ineffective, he tried acupuncture and the results were profound. Whit always knew that he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, so after finishing his undergraduate degree he took some time to consider all his options for further education (western medical school, graduate programs in genetics and genetic counseling, PA school, and more). Whit finally decided on acupuncture school because of the strong positive impact that acupuncture had on his life. The thought of being able to provide patients the same level of care and relief that he experienced was all the motivation Whit needed to pursue a career as an acupuncturist.
In his free time when he is not working or studying, Whit enjoys sailing, skiing, yoga, camping, hiking, cooking/baking, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
